Amazon plants

A few images of plants of the rainforest around the River Amazon and its tributaries. Only a few useful species are named with certainty. If anyone can help with the identification of the other species illustrated, I'd be delighted to hear from them.

Mother-in-law's tongue, Sanseveria sp, known in Brazil as espada-de-são-jorge (sword-of-saint-george), photographed at the Bosque Santa Lucia private rainforest reserve, near Santarem, beside the River Amazon in Brazil. (I am not entirely sure whether or not this is native in Brazil.
