Moraine Lake is a stunning turquoise lake, cradled by the valley of the Ten Peaks.  One of the most photogenic lakes I have ever seen!  Headed out at 5am so I could be there by sunrise.  Parked up on top of Lake Louise mountain where the @morainelakebus took a small group of us to the lake. Everyone was happy and ready to adventure. This company was awesome and so helpful with the knowledge of the lake and surrounding hikes and others things we could do. 

Unfortunately there was no sunrise.  It only made me pause for a second.  As I headed to the lake my excitement grew.  Truly the most picturesque places I have ever seen.  There was no wind and it was so calm with reflections that mirrored the majestic peaks. I was in heaven!  I decided to then walk around the lake and explore in all directions. Taking photos and breathing in this place.  It was cold. The water was cold. But I unpacked my underwater gear and found the perfect spot to shoot.  As close to the Ten Peaks as I could get.  This is the first above and below shot that I have taken where the mountains fill the distant scene.  Got my chocos on and entered the cold waters. After going in and out a few times my legs got used to it a bit.  Loved every minute of my time here and it will be in my memories forever 🌲🍃🩵

Gorgeous day yesterday up in the North Fork and Bowmen Lake.  Didn’t want the day to end!  So peaceful with crisp temps and gold color starting to blanket the endless breathtaking scenes all the way into Glacier.  Stopped at Polebridge for some goods.  Over 1000 images later🧡🍁🍃💦

Took my time heading over to the east side of Glacier then coming back through the park. Saint Mary’s, and over the pass. 

Just enjoyed the many stops and spots I haven’t even visited this summer.  Lots of waterfalls and rivers.  Much needed solo time. 

Although no reflections  on this lake, it’s still majestic and love hanging out here. I seem to not be able to get there at 6am for the “calm”. Always windy. Lots of waves and white caps!

The beautiful @hellolaurenbradley underwater maternity shoot in Flathead Lake Montana🩵. She makes this look like the most natural thing in the world 😍. Such a fun time shooting with this mama!

Attempting to clean up my Lightroom and  came across these winter images of this last season.  Glacier has a whole other level of beauty, stillness, quiet and calm during the winter months.  Often I long for summer during this season❄️. Today the smoke and heat are soaring. These images just look so refreshing and pure with the contrast of today. Chasing flowers into sunset🧡 Glacier National Park🍃🌼

I knew the time for daisy”s  up in the park would be coming to an end.  I headed up this magical road stopping and soaking in all the beautiful views and flowers along the way. I saw a bear walking on the road, a deer came right up to my car and wandered through many creeks taking hundreds of photos!😄💦🌿

💦Glacier National Parks beautiful bond of above & below🌿. 

I can’t even count the times I have spent in this large flowing creek. It goes for miles and the spots are endless to roam around. Different views on every side and way you turn. Always changing  through the seasons.  So blessed to call this home. Love walking through these waters soaking in this natural wonder!🌿

Reality whistles a different tune underwater🖤

Planning this shoot in Flathead lake with this talented girl, I was wanting to create an underwater scene with the moon ball. The water was cold right before this heat wave so I have her in a black wet suit. Thought this would have a look of space.  Well the wet suit kept us from being able to sink because they help you float. Didn’t bring the weight belt. Then the moon ball wouldn’t sink at all. This is the one shot I got of her trying to pull it underwater. I still thought it gave an otherworldly space vibe with the depths of the waters and the light reflecting on the bottom of the lake.  We then ditched the wetsuits and used the dance material to create some angelic images🪽

Being underwater with my camera looking through the lens of how things transform underwater is truly exciting!

As the heat soars here in Montana , our rivers and lakes are so refreshing!  Nothing beats these beautiful clear waters of Glacier National Park💦🌲. It’s paradise and there are so many little lagoons and places to soak up with magical views.  Stay safe out there!🩵

Photography is the story I fail to put into words🍃. We in-vision and dream to create. Sometimes scared to actually go through with it. Worried it won’t work or what people will think. But there is a drive for the adventure and what could possibly be created. Whether it’s climbing a mountain to get the shot at sunrise or a simple flower that inspires us to capture its beauty🌼

Underwater photography is like shooting in another world, a dream like studio.  What you may capture, how water transform light and movement. 

This shoot was a dream, and working with Karmen and her talent and ability to move her body into the graceful dance she does was inspiring to capture.  It is not easy to breath, stay under and look so calm like she makes this look. It’s hard!  We had many takes and she just wanted to keep improving and trying!  Then getting the images up on my computer and seeing what we had captured was exciting and beautiful to see. The fear melted away and joy was all I felt🩵

My backyard lately 🦅🌈🌼Montana your beautiful, although quite moody these days 🩵. 

I love watching birds and capturing them. It was a treat to see this Northern Flicker woodpecker just chillin on the fence.  The rainbows and changes of weather have been beautiful and the wildflowers are starting to peak!
